Isotoma fluviatillis, commonly called Blue Star Creeper, features small, blue, star-shaped flowers covering a dense mat of dark-green foliage. This is rugged, sturdy plant with many uses in the landscape or garden.

Grows best in a moist, well-drained soil. Appreciates afternoon shade when grown in warmer areas. Sturdy enough as a lawn substitute, but also does well in containers or planted between pavers. Tolerates varying amounts of foot traffic.
